Artist Statement
Inside us we have a universe that rarely emerges in real life. Sometimes it comes out but always incompletely and filtered, altered or perhaps censored by social rules or cultural conditioning. Instead, it is essential to find a place and a way to free our dreams and fully realize our personality. For this reason I use the camera as if it were a paintbrush in the hands of a painter and I immerse it in the palette of the landscape in front of me. I sink this special brush into the colors that best reflect the sensations I have inside and I mix the lines and textures to bring out the painting and free the deepest emotions that represent me. A genetic characteristic in the visual organ pushes me to look for very saturated colors and with few chromatic nuances. This characterizes my way of observing the surrounding world and influences my artistic style. I am inspired by the Photodynamism of Anton Giulio Bragaglia and by great internationally renowned artists such as Michael Orton in the use of the ICM photographic technique, giving my works a personal style that casts a light but profound gaze on the spiritual dimension of our existence.
